Defense Advocacy Committee
AUVSI members advocate with a unified voice, advocating for uncrewed systems to the DoW, Congress, and other federal agencies. Our Defense Advocacy Committee focuses across operational domains to support getting critical tech into the hands of our warfighters. Our domain-specific Advocacy Committees collaborate to establish member consensus legislative and regulatory priorities for air, maritime, and ground technologies — including cybersecurity and UxS mitigation.

Green UAS Certification
Green UAS is an updated framework built off the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU)’s Blue UAS certification program, designed for customers who do not immediately require a DoD authority to operate (ATO). Green UAS validates commercial small UAS as cyber-secure and will provide a wider variety of secure sUAS than the current Blue 2.0 list to conduct mission sets.
