We welcome working members of the media to cover the Drone and AAM Policy Symposium. To ensure quality news coverage, AUVSI requires media representatives to verify their roles and credentials. The following criteria apply for a complimentary media badge. If you do not meet these criteria, you are welcome to register as an attendee.
To qualify for a media badge:
- Applicants must demonstrate they are working media and regularly cover the uncrewed systems industry and its vertical markets, or are a general assignment, business, or technology reporter assigned to cover the industry.
- Editorial Only: Media representatives must be part of the editorial staff to receive a media badge.
- The following individuals may attend but must register as paid attendees: advertising sales representatives; commercial producers; marketing staff; public relations, publicity, social media, and advertising/branding agencies; and filmmakers and photographers for hire.
- Personal websites, hobby/enthusiast sites, and personal blogs do not qualify for a media badge.
- A history of being registered at previous AUVSI events does not guarantee approval or waive the accreditation requirement.
